The compensated descent control valves are safety valves that are used to keep the flow rate constant even in the presence of high pressure variations. They can have a fixed setting (fixed calibration descent control valve) or adjustable setting (compensated descent control valve adjustable type). The latter can be adjust within a certain indicated range and due to their particular construction have very low pressure drops.

They are particularly used in lifting systems such as forklifts and power units.

If suitable cavities are not already available, it is possible to use cartridge with male / female or female / female threads.
