The hose burst valve is a safety valve. During the passage of a dragging load there is always the possibility of tube breaking where the flow pushes the load. The bursting of the tube causes a sudden drop in pressure and consequently the load, being no longer supported, falls with accelerated motion. The hose burst valve or also called “parachute valve” slows down the descent allowing the load to descend more slowly. The oil in the drain is dispersed.

The parachute valve is inserted in a special cavity if present, or in special male / female or female / female columns which are screwed onto the cylinder.

It is possible to make calibrated holes that determine the speed control.
