The sequence valve is used to control two or more actuators having a predetermined order, therefore in sequence. The movement of the two cylinders will therefore not take place simultaneously but the second cylinder will only move when the first has finished its stroke. This reciprocating movement guarantees the safety of the movements of the actuators.
Combined with other valves, the sequence valves can be used for other uses, for example sometimes they are used in order to keep a circuit under pressure as much as the simultaneous supply of different users, requiring the total flow rate of the pump, would cause a decrease in the pressure value.
